On a chilly March morning, a beautiful foal named Fortunate is born…three weeks before she is expected! She is small and shivering, but her mother, Bonnie Lass, and their human friends at West Branch Horse Farm love Fortunate very much. They are determined to help her grow up big and strong-to become a Fabulous, Fantastic Filly! Fortunate: The Fabulous, Fantastic Filly is based on a true story. It is written for prekindergarten through third grade students and is filled with colorful, realistic illustrations of Fortunate and her friends.
