From Uganda to the UK

Following genocide in Rwanda, the British Government gave the Rwandan Government a scholarship as a goodwill gesture. Being a woman with the ambition to rebuild the country, Speciosa Nakavuma won the scholarship and headed for Dundee in Scotland to take up a place on a Bachelor of Civil Engineering course. There were false pretences and Speciosa had to get a loan to survive and complete the course.
