Mute dog was written by 8 year old twin girls who suffer from social anxiety and selective mutism. Their story explores the physical and emotional feelings that can be experienced with these disorders. This book was written in the hope that other children going through the same thing won't feel so alone, and to help those who are connected to a child with selective mutism, social anxiety or severe shyness, better understand what their loved ones go through.
