Theo Francken (1978) holds a master degree in pedagogical sciences (KU Leuven), has been a member of parliament for N-VA since 2010 and is mayor of Lubbeek. He was State Secretary for Asylum & Migration and Administrative Simplification in the federal government Michel I (2014-2018). He was elected in October 2019 as Head of Delegation of the Belgian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and is also Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Defence. He previously published Belgium, country without borders (2012), Continent without borders (2018) and Migration in 24 questions & answers (2019). Hendrik Bogaert (1968) holds a master degree in applied economic sciences (KU Leuven), has been a member of parliament for CD&V since 2003 and is a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Defence. He holds a Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. From December 2011 to October 2014, he was State Secretary for Civil Service and Modernisation of Public Services. Bogaert published The House of Jolien (2001), The Personnel Union (2008) and Living Together In Freedom (2017). Peter Buysrogge (1976) holds a master degree in political science (University Gent), has been a member of parliament for N-VA since 2014 and is Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defence. He is also supervisor of Finance, Personnel and Sport in Sint-Niklaas. He gained experience at the Flemish level as N-VA party secretary in the Flemish Parliament and spokesperson for the Flemish Minister of Administration Geert Bourgeois.
