Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth II was the longest-reigning monarch of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. Her reign began in1952 and ended with her death in September 2022, at the age of 96. During her reign, Queen Elizabeth brought dignity, intelligence and courage to her role as Queen. Learn about her life as a monarch, but also as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and lover of horses and corgis.
