We're writing with assumptions that the tales you're soon to see won't give you cause to wonder who The Brothers Brumm might be; presumably you've read some other sample of our writing, in order to have found *this* book in any way inviting; we'd similarly guess you know of Uurth to some extent, so that if we should speak of it, you'll follow our intent. We'd dare to say, if that's the case, you'd have to be aware of Wyrdworld's weird inhabitants and how they flourish there: but just as a reminder, here's a little rhyme or two, to help recall the nature of our universe to you... - a lush and fertile planet Uurth, created via rabbits, with walking talking animals complete with mortal habits; these folk - the norms - brought forth by all the skills of dwarven art, are each assigned a place on Uurth from which to make their start. They live beneath the gaze of gods of various dimensions - to whom, in more degrees or less, they offer their attentions. This population perseveres, creating Wyrdworld's histories, while magik and the sciences examine all its mysteries.
