In learning his trade, Gerant stumbles across some ancient smithing lores that fuel his desire to make superior weapon blades that are lighter, stronger and more valuable. After his apprenticeship, he moves to The Capital, building his skills and knowledge, using the ancient lores which impart his blades with superior properties. Quietly growing a reputation for quality, Gerant learns his patron is using his blades to overcome opponents using the ancient lores Gerant has imparted on the weapon.
