Before she can reach the dock where Roberto awaits, Alyssa is detained by the manipulative and despicable Diego Montalvo, Castro's personal attorney, who's infatuated with her beauty. Roberto reluctantly leaves without her, but vows that he'll soon be coming back to rescue her. Based upon actual events, the novel has been written for adult readers who injoy being absorbed into fast-moving stories of love, war, suspense and mystery. They will follow the characters through an exciting Caribbean labyrinth of heroes and villains, beginning with the discovery of a treasure map and culminating with a final harrowing escape attempt from the island.
