We're Fighting, So Why is Bear Smiling?

There’s a conflict, it is sad and scary, but the teddy bear is smiling. Why is he smiling? He smiles because he likes the family spending more time together, because he sees good people helping out, and because he knows that one day this situation will be over and everyone will be happy again.
